Privacy Policy – Home-Free

Last updated: August 2026

Home-Free is designed for intentional family and circle check-ins. The app shares information only with the trusted circle you create or join.

Data We Use

Home-Free may store account details, display name, phone number, profile photo, circle membership, check-ins, mood, check-in time, optional location snapshot, optional battery status, optional voice note, event check-ins, confirmations, and push notification tokens.

How Data Is Shared

Your check-in details are visible only to people connected to your circle. Location is shared only when you choose to check in with location enabled. Home-Free does not provide 24/7 tracking, app blocking, or built-in chat.

Storage and Sync

Home-Free uses Supabase to provide secure account sign-in, circle sync, check-ins, media storage, and account deletion. Some data may also be queued locally on your device while offline and synced when service returns.

Retention

Recent check-in history, progress snapshots, live-location requests, event results, push jobs, and invite codes may be cleaned up automatically. Account deletion removes your profile, circle data, check-ins, and related media according to the app's deletion flow.

Data Collection

Home-Free does not sell your data or use advertising trackers. Third-party services may process the information needed to run the app, including Supabase, Apple, Google, app-store billing, and push notification services.

Children's Privacy

Home-Free is intended for use by families and trusted circles. A parent or guardian should manage use by children where required by law.
